TCB angular contact thrust ball bearings are mainly applied to machine tool.
Single direction angular contact thrust ball bearings
Single direction angular contact thrust ball bearings have been developed specially for the support of ball and roller screws in machine tools, and they also can be used successfully for other applications. These non-separable design bearings, which have a ball-centred cage of the polyamide 6,6 incorporating a large number of balls, stands particularly close conformity between the balls and raceways with 60º contact angle. These design characteristics contribute to:
(1) High axial stiffness of the bearing
(2) Suitable for the accommodation of radial load in addition to axial load
(3) High running accuracy especial for axial running
(4) High speed and acceleration performance
(5) Low friction torque
TCB single direction angular contact thrust ball bearings can be supplied in matched sets of two, three or four bearings.
Double direction angular contact thrust ball bearings
Double direction angular contact thrust ball bearings can simultaneously accommodate axial load of double directions. These bearings are able to locate a spindle axially in both directions and are designed for being used together with the same bore and outside diameters double row cylindrical roller bearing. Series of BTM double-direction angular thrust ball bearings are developed by TCB in order to meet the demands for accuracy and high speed of machine tool work spindles. These bearings are of non-separable design to form back-to-back arrangements, which have a ball-centred cage of the polyamide 6,6. Bearings of BTM-A have a contact angle of 30º, BTM-B have a 40º . Bearings of BTM series particularly intend to accommodate axial load as quoted in this catalog. Although they are radial bearings for virtually having 40º contact angle by ISO definition, these bearings are specially-designed for carrying axial load while having the ability to operate at high speed. |
